To get the Parental rights and amendment to the Civil Code

I prepared a brief for my client on July 2007. He was the first client for me about trouble of divorce and children. Second client ended his life in suicide. October 30th is the anniversary of his death. After that trouble of divorce is increasing and becomes to change [abduction of spousal].
These destructions of the family are according to the manual. I felt these were preventing from the judicial systems. It means Japanese law doesn’t admit custody is not parental right. These problems caused from Japanese sole custody system.
I would like to consider amending the Civil Code of the joint custody after divorce.

Susan Roos is wife of the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, and has recently spoken out regarding Japan’s position on the international child abduction issue:

“I’m a firm believer that children should have the love of both of their parents and so I feel that it is important for these international couples to be able to have both the fathers and the mothers see their children”

Here are the details:
Join Bring Abducted Children (BAC) Home to hold up posters and distribute up to 10,000 BAC Home fliers to promote awareness of International Child Abduction at Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert’s “Rally to Restore Sanity” at the far eastern end of the National Mall between 3rd Street and 7th Street, known as East Seaton Park and Henry Park.October 30, 2010.

The Rally to Restore Sanity will NOT, I repeat NOT be at the Lincoln Memorial, but will instead be at the other end of the mall, closer to the Capitol Reflecting Pool between 3rd and 7th Streets. For BAC Home supporters who wish to join us to hand out flyers, hold signs, promote awareness and help Bring Abducted Children Home, we will meet at Hancock Park, at the corner of and 7th Street SW and C street SW, right across from the L’Enfant Plaza metro station.

L’Enfant Plaza is on the convergence of the yellow, green, orange and blue lines, and has a number of exits, so when you get to L’Enfant Plaza, be sure to use the 7th Street SW and Maryland Ave SW exit. We will gather at Hancock Park between 10:30 and 11:00 AM and head over to the rally (about 2 blocks away) at 11:00 AM. For those of you who arrive late and want to find us, please call Paul at (703) 300-3411 or Doug at (703) 463-0008 to find out exactly where we are.
